Los Angeles, CA (February 10, 2015) ---- Jimmy Peņa, New York Times best-selling author, exercise physiologist and founder of PrayFit Ministries, announces today the first annual PrayFit RISE Conference in Los Angeles, CA, April 11th. With special musical guest Brenton Brown, the event will feature ten guest speakers that include Peņa, Shawn Thornton, Lauren DeMoss, Dana White (TheFoodNetwork.com), Matt Brown (Think Eternity), David Martin (I AM SECOND students), with Scotty Smith from Christ Community Church in Nashville, TN delivering the keynote address.
Tickets for the event are available online at www.prayfitrise.org and ticket prices are $33.00 for adults and $25.00 for students for all conference events. PrayFit RISE will take place at Calvary Community Church, 5495 Via Rocas, West Lake Village, CA, and will give everyone of all ages the opportunity to celebrate grace, while learning to live a healthier, humble, service-driven, grace-filled life.
"We want to bring a fun-filled, challenging, and inspiring event to Los Angeles that could involve the whole family," explains Peņa. There will also be sessions that deal with hurts, illness and hope, along with book signings, panel discussions and dinner with the speakers (special ticket needed for the dinner). Jimmy Peņa earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Baylor University in 1994 and his master's degree in clinical exercise physiology from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1998.
